Comme qui dirait \u201cMatibon, c\u2019est bon\u201d<\/strong>. Et en effet, \u00eatre second vin d\u2019un Cru Bourgeois \u00e7a a du bon ! Matibon de Ch\u00e2teau Baudan est le second vin du Ch\u00e2teau Baudan<\/a> Cru Bourgeois en Listrac M\u00e9doc<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Ces deux vins sont des recettes de femmes<\/strong> : fruit\u00e9s, parfum\u00e9s, au caract\u00e8re ferme mais qui s\u2019exprime avec douceur. Mme Blasquez, la propri\u00e9taire du domaine et winemaker, est une excellente communicante. Elle me parle de ses vins comme de ses deux filles<\/strong>, tout en me montrant les photos de son (tr\u00e8s jolie) domaine.<\/p>\n

\u201cL\u00e0 c\u2019est la maison, ici les d\u00e9pendances pour le stockage et la production…
\nPuis les vignes tout autour de la demeure… on a plant\u00e9 les jeunes pieds jusque devant la maison. On les voit quand on prend le petit d\u00e9jeuner.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u00c7a donne envie de lui apporter les croissants tous les matins !<\/p>\n

Revenons au vin. Le Matibon de Ch\u00e2teau Baudan est d\u00e9j\u00e0 tr\u00e8s appr\u00e9ciable \u00e0 l\u2019ouverture<\/strong> : bouteille lourde, bouchon de qualit\u00e9 et effluves de confiture. Au nez, ce vin sent la cerise. Au go\u00fbt, on retrouve de la grenadine (fraise et framboise) franche et une bonne acidit\u00e9 qui vient \u00e9quilibr\u00e9 les fruits m\u00fbrs<\/strong>. Ce vin est frais, l\u00e9ger et agr\u00e9able \u00e0 boire, jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la finition poivr\u00e9e. Un peu court \u00e0 mon go\u00fbt. Le tanin est l\u00e9ger et porte bien l\u2019acidit\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Je l\u2019ai d\u00e9gust\u00e9 avec une recette chinoise de poulet caram\u00e9lis\u00e9. Un beau mariage estival.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Both wines are made by a woman: fruity, fragrant, but a strong character which express softly. Ms. Blasquez the domain owner and winemaker, is an excellent communicator. She talks about her wines as her two daughters, while showing me pictures of her (very nice) domain.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0There is the house, here outbuildings for storage and production …
\nThen the vines around the house … were planted young vines up to the house. We see them when we have the breakfast.<\/em> \u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

It makes you want to bring her the croissants every morning!<\/em><\/p>\n

Back to the wine. The Matibon de Ch\u00e2teau Baudan is already very significant at opening: heavy bottle, cork quality and aroma of jam. On the nose, this wine smells of cherry. In taste, there is frank grenadine (strawberry and raspberry) and good acidity that comes to balance the ripe fruits. This wine is fresh, light and pleasant to drink, until the peppery finish. A bit short for me. The tannin is light and go properly with the acidity.<\/em><\/p>\n
