Malgr\u00e9 ce que l&rsquo;on peut imaginer, le plus probable est que cette d\u00e9gustation est lieu <strong>\u00e0 Shanghai<\/strong>, \u00e0 plus de 10 000 km de la propri\u00e9t\u00e9. Depuis le 17e si\u00e8cle, le Ch\u00e2teau Lafite est la propri\u00e9t\u00e9 de la famille Rotschild. La famille acquiert le Plateau des Carruades en 1845. Celui-ci produit d\u00e9j\u00e0 son propre vin. Les Rotschild se l&rsquo;approprient comme second vin sous le nom de<strong> Moulin des Carruades<\/strong>. Ce n&rsquo;est qu&rsquo;en 1980, qu&rsquo;il prend le nom des Carruades de Lafite.<\/p>\n<p>Le Pauillac Carruades de Lafite est produit \u00e0 hauteur de <strong>20 \u00e0 30 000 caisses<\/strong> par an (15 000 pour le 1er Cru Ch\u00e2teau Lafite-Rotschild). Il se compose grande partie de<strong> Cabernet Sauvignon, puis de Merlot, Cabernet Franc et Petit Verdot<\/strong> (j&rsquo;adore ce nom, il est trop kawa\u00ef). 80% du \u00ab vin \u00bb est <strong>vieilli en barrique 16 \u00e0 20 mois<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Concernant le mill\u00e9sime 2009, il a \u00e9t\u00e9<strong> vendang\u00e9 assez tard<\/strong> dans le mois de septembre, ce qui lui vaut un <strong>tanin tr\u00e8s m\u00fbr<\/strong>, tr\u00e8s prometteur mais peu accessible jeune.<\/p>\n<p>Du coup, pour parfaire la d\u00e9gustation, je l&rsquo;ai fait <strong>d\u00e9canter une heure et demie<\/strong>, le temps de faire une d\u00e9gustation comparative des blancs du march\u00e9 chinois et de manger les hors-d\u2019\u0153uvre froids. Le site Internet de Ch\u00e2teau Lafite conseille deux heures de d\u00e9cantation et une d\u00e9gustation entre 16 et 18\u00b0C. Je pense qu&rsquo;il faut bien cela. Les derni\u00e8res gorg\u00e9es en fin de soir\u00e9e l&rsquo;ont prouv\u00e9 !<\/p>\n<p>Malgr\u00e9 l&rsquo;impatience, la d\u00e9gustation a \u00e9t\u00e9 agr\u00e9able et instructive. <strong>Le parfum de violette, l&rsquo;odeur de l&rsquo;essence d&rsquo;amande am\u00e8re, la couleur pourpre&#8230;<\/strong> tous \u00e9taient au rendez-vous. Le paradoxe avantage\/inconv\u00e9nient des vins connus est la pseudo d\u00e9couverte\/confirmation de ce que l&rsquo;on dit de ces vins.<\/p>\n<p>En effet, je confirme que c&rsquo;est <strong>un vin d&rsquo;une excellente qualit\u00e9 aromatique<\/strong>, chaque parfum a sa place, que le tanin est m\u00fbr, que la <strong>\u00ab m\u00e2che \u00bb est ronde et agr\u00e9able<\/strong> comme un voile de velours. Et en m\u00eame temps, je d\u00e9couvre la finesse et l&rsquo;\u00e9l\u00e9gance du vin, comme j&rsquo;appr\u00e9cierai la compagnie d&rsquo;un gentleman en soir\u00e9e. Despite of probability, it may arrived more often <strong>in Shanghai<\/strong>, more than 10 000 km far from the castle. Last time, it was in a closed chamber, in <strong>a Ta\u00efwanese restaurant<\/strong>, making the \u00ab education \u00bb of sales people&rsquo;s palates.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>For the story,<strong> Carruades de Lafite <\/strong>is always written with a \u00ab S \u00bb because it is about Carruades (stone quarries) plateau, adjoining to the castle. Since the 17th century, Lafite&rsquo;s castle had been the Rotschild Family property. The family bought the Carruades plateau in 1845. It was already producing its own wine. Rotschilds decided this wine to become their second wine and called it<strong> \u00ab Moulin des Carruades \u00bb<\/strong>. The wine was named \u00ab Carruades de Lafite \u00bb un 1980, only 30 years ago.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>There is <strong>20 to 30 000 cases<\/strong> of Pauillac Carruades de Lafite per year (15 000 cases for 1er Cru Ch\u00e2teau Lafite-Rotschild). That brings it ripe tanin taste which is hopeful for aging. To have a perfect tasting, I put the wine <strong>in a decanter for half and a hour<\/strong>, enough time to taste white wines from chinese market with cold hoers-d&rsquo;oeuvre. Ch\u00e2teau Lafite website advises 2 hours for decantation and a temperature tasting between 16 and 18\u00b0C. I think this wine needs it, the last sips prouve it !<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Despite the impatience, the tasting is enjoyable and informative. <strong>The scent of violets, the smell of bitter almond, purple color &#8230;<\/strong> all things are there where we are waiting for them. The paradox advantage \/ disadvantage of the wellknown wine is the discovery \/ confirmation of what is said about these famous wine. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Indeed, I can confirm that this is a wine<strong> with great aromatic quality<\/strong>, each flavor has its place, the tannin is ripe, t<strong>he \u00ab\u00a0mash\u00a0\u00bb is nice and round<\/strong> like a velvet veil. At the same time, I discovered the delicacy and elegance of the wine, as I appreciate the company of a gentleman in the evening.
